Take the thoughts of others,
their feelings and their needs.
Give these consideration
in all your daily deeds,

Keeping your mind open
to differences great and small.
They may not think as you do.
This won’t be your downfall.

Courtesy is utmost.
Dignity is a must.
Never ridicule or hurt,
for this will just disgust.

Listen when they’re talking;
treat others in the way
that you would then be treated
today and every day.

Offer up your friendship.
Show kindness through and through.
To do this is a virtue
and benefit to you.

In arguments we should
agree to disagree.
Honest communication
is truth and courtesy.

When finally you've earned it
then you will give it, too.
Respect is a great treasure
that we should all pursue.
