The form is called a triolet. It is related to the rondeau or round poem. It is an 8 line poem that has some lines that are repeated. The format uses 8 to 10 syllables.
The pattern is :

B: second line
a: rhyme with first line

b: rhyme with second line
A: repeat line 1
B: repeat line 2
