From the beginning, you doubted we would last,
I tried all I could to prove you wrong. Embedded in my mind, your words of eternal love, but my heart warned me of the upcoming ending to this lovely song. To this I denied for I did not want to believe, that you would ever leave me, at least not anytime soon. You demanded so much and my hold on you weakened, suddenly our song had a change of tune. I sit here at rest, thinking of what I could say. With so much pain and sorrow from my own ignorance, this song was always meant to be con dolore. One morning, I will regret this sadness felt, since I am meant to always be happy and never this low. To you I wish you get what you deserve, as our song ends in grave tempo.
