NEW PROMPT: Today, in a spur-of-the-moment decision, I donated blood. I got to thinking about what other qualities of mine the recipient might acquire through being infused with my life's essence. So write a story or poem about the recipient of a blood transfusion who gains a superpower. What is the power, and what does he or she do about it? THE UNEXPECTED So, I had a blood transfusion-- it was all amid confusion of my bladder blowing up it would just flat NOT GIVE UP!! And, the next thing that my mind knew I was putting on my old shoe-- I did not want to get up, but they told me to stand up! Thought I'd need some super powers, and my mood had kinda soured-- I just wanted to go home; just wanted some time alone! Think new blood came from a fighter! Wanted to pull an ALL-NIGHTER. But they made me go to sleep; soon was sleeping pretty deep. Just goes to show that transfusions can give me wild delusions that I'm stronger than I am when I've gotten in a jam!! Super power's not my true game, still, I lked it fine all the same-- made me get well pretty quick-- I DON'T much like being sick!
