FEAR NO EVIL

It seems that God and the devil had a duel one day;
God had to win the duel or there would be hell to pay!
The devil did his best to prove that he was much stronger
but he was no match for God, who has been here longer.

The message God sent to us, you can well believe,
there is no reason at all for people on earth to grieve.
"FEAR NO EVIL - just trust in my most solemn word"
and around the world the sound of His voice was heard.

The devil never gives up on trying to claim God's own,
figuring that we here on earth are really just His on loan.
Bad things will still happen as the devil dances with glee
as he still is marching on to gain just one more victory!

Those who do believe in God will be safe from any harm
and will be able to escape from the mean old devil's charm.
Remember the word of God and fear no evil that may come,
just look to the light and know that the very best has won!

Praise God in every waking hour,
and feel the goodness of His power!
Let the devil dance way down below -
That's one place you don't want to go!
