A Sensual Stroll

A casual walk can be so fulfilling.
When you use your senses, it’s so rewarding.
First catch a view of the sky.
It often offers colors that bring a sigh.
As your gaze is upward, forget not beautiful clouds.
So often they come as crowds.
Next let your gape embrace buildings.
They depict the genius of many earthlings.
Oh those windows, the eyes of structure,
They display the vision of a glazer.
Don’t forget to take in the air.
It is easy to forget, it is everywhere.
Take note of the ever present sidewalk.
It is the platform from which we gawk.
The streets busy with traffic are a palate.
They are much like the words of a poet.
The people come in all sizes and colors.
Everyone is on a stage, each an actor.
The trees that are present are growing symbols.
Branches and leaves offer numerous channels.
Most mysterious of all are the shadows we observe.
They help make this walk a memory to preserve.
