Grand Children
As grand parents, we are truly challenged, With those cherished gifts our efforts plunged. As young parents, we were so happy with our brood. We were so proud of the children we hewed. Little did we know the best was yet to appear? Blessed even more with grand children so dear. We never kept count for each cherished addition. It was a joy when our children did beckon. So many questions from each for a solution, It was our guidance, they looked for vision. How often we explained, “There’s no proper formula.” We always suggested find your own vista. God let parents determine the journey. Be firm, be fair, give them love and limit their boundary. Successes are relative and take investment. Of time, tribulation and good judgment. Ah, as Grand Parents we now have our chance. To inform young parents, their skills to enhance. Grand Pa and Grand Ma can now truly spoil. All those grand babies without the turmoil. They baby sit often as their children do roam. Sooner or later those grand children go home.
