Picture Prompt
** #1650804 Not An Image ** Barker and Babe evermore friends sat by the sea everyday. They barked at the waves rushing to shore. They’d jump and they’d splash in the spray. Once in a while they’d wade in the surf, their paws leaving tracks in the sand. Even though they never caught anything, they attempted to fish from the land. You know what they say, “All things must end.” Sad to believe, but it’s true. Barker and Babe grew old and infirm, their sea gazing days were now through. But in my mind, they’re out there somewhere content as they sit by the sea. Maybe one day I’ll see them again happy and splashing carefree. 16 lines
