Five Years, One Month and Four Days Ago.

Dear Dad,
I have almost forgotten your passing.
It isn't my intention of forgetting at all.
I love you today as I loved you while you were alive.
There is nothing you wouldnt' have done for me if you could have.
I know that Dad.
You brought me up right.
I was the one who went their own way.
I think about the times you wanted me to be straight.
Today I am a gay man.
I know that you must have been disappointed.
However, it is my life now and I am the way I am.
There is nothing in the world I wouldn't do for you if I could.
However there is nothing I can do now for you.
You are in the arms of Jesus.
I know that is where you went after passing away.
You  believed in the Lord Jesus Christ years ago.
You made yourself ready to go to Heaven.
I know that is where you are today.
I curse the God of Heaven for taking you away from me.
I know I shouldn't do that.
There is enough in the world to praise the Lord .
I thank Him for the birds that sing.
I thank Him for the truth of a Heaven.
There is blessings every day of my life that He gives me.
So, I do praise the Lord.
I hope that you have seen Mom by this time.
I know it isnt' the same in Heaven as it is on earth.
it is just hoped that you have seen her and that you praise the Lord together.
May you know that I love you now and will go on loving you for all you are to me.
May you know that I love the memory of you and I keep it everyday of my life.
