Friendship Lost
To lose a friend

My faithful friend; a friendship true,

Someone to count on was always you.

Then one day you fell for deception

The enemy’s lies were his fatal injection.

All was lost; fond years went awry.

My insides ached, many tears I have cried.

A friendship gone; was there ever one there?

Abandoned memories; lonely despair.
