baby blues
The blue is like that of irises in winter blue but purple dark, deep the colour of the underbelly of a whale as you swim upwards towards light the colour of tears cried with only reasons the colour of lazy focus shifting shapes of seeing with ears, touch the colour of the eyes of my sister’s child and I wonder what colour the eyes might have been of my own © Dominique White July 2001
