Yesterday by Samantha Nichole Prince Forgive me, but I love you. I regret to say it's true. But I hadn't had a clue Until a day called Yesterday. I thought you were only my friend I did not in any way mean to offend You, or possibly even send You away Yesterday. I know you love her more than me. Though the reason for that I cannot see. You and I were meant to be. And I began believing so Yesterday. I never meant for you to find out. But now you know, without a doubt. Please remember I only found out This miserable burden Yesterday. If you wish to leave me now I will not try to make you stay somehow Or in any way try to put you down. Because I knew I loved you deeply since Yesterday. Whatever your decision Made with your precision I'm sure there will always be an unpleasant partition Between us after Yesterday. I sincerely wish I could reverse it Now that our candle of friendship is not lit, Now that we will no longer be closely knit. I was happy until a rainy day called Yesterday. March 7th, 2010
