Endless Ripples
A poem about ripples

" Endless Ripples "

I saw the endless ripples
that play upon the lake,
the remnants of obstacles
when surface tensions break.

On and on the ripples run
renewed and more to make,
tiny ripples one by one
in rhythm with the wake.

Sitting on a rocky shore,
I revel in such peace;
each wave like the one before
its motion will not cease.

Time has passed and now I see
the ripples are my friends,
they drift along so silently
until their journey ends.
