Yes, it's time for spring.
Everything’s in bloom. I should be elated; Instead, I’m filled with gloom. Trees and shrubs in bud, Pollen is in the air. It covers everything! Escape is found nowhere! Flowers bursting forth; Their scent is on the breeze. My head is quite stuffed up; All I can do is wheeze. I sit here sneezing; My eyes are itching, too. I’m coughing and sniffling, Ah-choo, ah-choo, ah-choo! Though I see beauty, I simply want to hide, For I cannot enjoy The lovely countryside. I’ll refill my pills So I will not be sick For springtime’s in the air And, I’ll need relief quick!
