Someone Who Cares

When I am discouraged,
Or feeling blue,
I know someone who cares.
That someone is You.

When I am all alone,
And feeling down,
I sense Your great presence;
It chases my frown.

I know You are with me
Every day.
You are there beside me
Each step of the way.

I am only human
I’m weak and small
But Father, Your guidance
Lifts me when I fall.

Dear Lord, please forgive me
Of sins I do,
Both those of commission
And omission, too.

For bounty and blessings,
I praise Your name.
Through the blood of Your Son,
Heaven I can claim.

We know that nothing is
Too great for You.
The promises You made
Are forever true.

Thank you most of all for
Your Holy Son
Who was sinless, yet died
For everyone.

You are omnipotent
Dear God above
You are someone who cares
For us with Your love.
