A Train Ride my ticket in a bag, powder blue- one way. Herds of chairs, no bodies to share my ride unroll some supplies sweat unfolds it’s burning my belt tightens beyond notches on my bicep the conductor punches for veins above releases on my train I’m home headed for higher elevation I overshot; missed the last stop of my breath.
