Entry for Coloring the World Contest using the prompt "At The Edge of the Ocean"
There at the edge of the ocean, I stand and I look at the sea. Beauty is found in its motion And a peaceful tranquility. There at the edge of the ocean, Gulls overhead passing by, Squawking with such loud commotion, They dip and they dive from the sky. There at the edge of the ocean, The salty spray showers my hair. My heart is filled with emotion At simply just being right there. There at the edge of the ocean, Where breakers roll up to the sand. I pray to God with devotion For saving this unworthy man. There at the edge of the ocean I feel His great presence so strong I know it’s more than a notion That with Him, I’ll always belong. 20 lines
