BLESSINGS
A poem in Rispetto form dedicated to our recently arrived bundle of joy.

I offer her my index finger,
Her tiny hand curls around;
Her touch I wish would forever linger,
Her babble is a wonderful sound.

Her every antic we so much adore;
Friends know by heart her tales galore.
She is a blessing from God benevolent,
Life is once again sweet and pleasant.
