Our Love is Rare
Our Love is rare, We are to devoted to each other’s care, We are never hurtful we don’t cause despair. Feelings for each other, we are constantly aware. For two score years we have placed our trust, Each day we have to adjust, Making those decisions that are choicest, Each to the other, trying to be the dearest. It’s never an easy or ordinary task, Who knows what each day will unmask? If there’s a question of love, we always ask. A perfect love in which we bask. Each gives the other one hundred percent, So often this prevents argument. Our love will never fragment. For loving each other is our intent. We hope our love has been pure, Passing it to our children, we assure, In total love there’s never a detour, Our love is rare, it doth endure.
