There once passed a message,
From my heart to yours. Unspoken, a shining collage, Hanging in the air with open doors. Now the lawyers have come, With their arrogant grins. You play dumb, Deny all and play it off as my sin. I was not alone, The message passed both ways. Why should I atone? Rot away for so many days? A phone call could save me, Do you feel no guilt? A word to set me free, Oh, how my world’s axis does tilt. You have the power, I do not deny. Now it is a different message you send, From your heart to mine.
