When a baby cries no more
There's silence in the air As we beat our fists And say god why arnt you there When a baby cries no more We join in the chorus of tears As we turn away In despair Facing all our fears When a baby cries no more If to heaven we would see A little baby laughing Playing on her daddy's knee.
