If someone said, "Two years from now,"
If someone had told me two years ago that I'd be a published author...

SimplyBlue My my my. How time flies when you're kickin' some butt. If anyone had told me years ago when I opened this account that by 2010 I'd have a book series out, a novella underway and a "Cozy" mystery all published this year by several publishing houses, I'd have spit in their eye.

I never envisioned this type of success when I arrived here at Writing.com. I was merely thrilled that anyone would take the time to even read anything I'd posted. I never really understood the concept of synchronicity until I submitted my first novel manuscript. What happened next can only be described as the definition of synchronicity. I ended up with a three book deal, I've been signed for a novella for an anthology by the same publisher, and most unbelieveable of all, I co-authored a mystery with my SISTER (of all people!) which also sold to different publisher! I've done panels on writing, gotten rave reviews (which I am soooo incredibly thankful for) and learned how to piece together a semblance of a website!

Lest you think I'm egomaniacal (which I am, you have to be to work on the radio), I want to take this tiny moment to thank all of you who posted anything from necessary & appreciated criticism to compliments straight from your heart! I did take it all in and grew to expect the best from myself and learned how to be my own toughest critic. Though of course, no one can be tougher on me than my sister.

Some of the stuff I've written here still remains some of my favorite, some of it I'm glad I removed permanently, lest I lose what little nerve I have, lol! Some of the stuff YOU'VE written here has been some of my fav. I've experimented, tried and failed, tried and succeeded a little.

Just wanted to touch base here and thank those of you who took the time to encourage me! Love to you all!
