Dear God

Dear God,
With thanksgiving I come to You.
I want to praise Your name for all the wonderful things You have done for us on earth.
I thank You for the trees and the birds plus the flowers that are ours to enjoy.
I thank You for the many times You have spared my life when I should have lost it.
I thank You my dear Heavenly Father for the joy that is mine in knowing Jesus.
There are many things to thank You for.
I do have a prayer for the ones who are serving our country now in this time of war.
I ask You to protect Your children and bring them home safely to us.
I ask for the mothers in this land who are worried and concerned about their wayward children that they will find rest within You.
I ask that You bless the loved ones up in Heaven that are mine and others like mine.
As You can see there are a lot of needs on my heart this morning.
I ask that You right the wrongs in this world. of ours.
I pray for my fallen brothers and sisters who have served the country well.
I ask that You guide and direct my steps that I may be pleasing to You.
As You can see Lord there are many things I have in the need of prayer.
I ask that You allow someone to get to my brother, Ervin and have him come to know You.
There are other things I want to thank You for as well.
I thank You for giving us music in this world.
The kind that lifts up the Name of Christ in our daily lives.
Thank You for the birds that sing and that You have every morning to bless the ones who hear.
Thank You for the oceans and the rivers and lakes.
Thank You for the many things You have done for us every day of our lives.
Thank You for the promise that Satan will be  bound for one thousand years.
Thank You for the ability to ride a horse.
For we shall all ride horses one day to come.
How wonderful are You works.
How wonderful is the sky we see each day and the air we breathe.
Yes, there are so many things to thank You for. 
The greatest of all is that we thank You for Jesus who died for us.
