SEASON'S CHANGE
A religious poem about CHRIST and new life

SEASON’S CHANGE!

Just a touch of Spring and all things seem renewed again.
Fled are the dark, cold dreary days and winter’s chill,
Along with those deeper thoughts that misery and suffering
May be all there are to living, and after this life, the dread that
There is worse to come or perhaps – nothing at all.

Renewed seems everything, for with a simple touch of Spring
Shades of brightest yellow, blue, red, and green, bring
With them light and warmth and hopes of better days
That always come with this season’s change, as what was old;
Worn; gone; returns to life and is reborn.

For me, Spring stirs also thoughts of CHRIST and hopes for a
New and better life beyond this one, as with that season’s change,
CHRIST’s love will make new everything about me, and in me.
Gone will be those deeper fears, as what was old and worn, give way to a
Life reborn in an eternal Spring, where joy and peace and love – are unending.
