I Thank You For This Privilege
Love in action is more meaningful than words, especially when tested by death.

I vowed to love you,
in sickness and in health.

The heart is constant ,
the spirit is eternal.
I sit you up now,
with strength you give me.
It comes from your eyes.
I love you for who you are,
even if the shell mutates.
Angelic in white v-neck tee,
pathetic yet powerful in sleep.

You still open my doors,
but with your heart.
You usher me into places,
but now using your eyes.

My actions are carefully done,
a testament of love and truth.
Not in obligation, but gratefulness,
For you always make me proud.

I know You would do the same,
because I still feel your strength.
And that is why my love,
I thank you for this privilege.
