New Prompt: Write a short story or poem about being average or having average qualities. AVERAGE No one tries to be average; it's not a dirty word! Folks think by being average, ideas won't be heard, or taken "serious enough"- I beg to differ, though-- Lake Wobegone's messed up our minds; we've got new stuff to know! About our souls and lives and grins-- our work and all its stress-- for me, I'll take plain average: my honest way to go! Bring on for me more normal days, and then just let me rest! For me, persuing average is nothing but the best!
