With Great Difficulty...
Rated: E | Other | Biographical | #1664069
Things I do with great difficulty.
...I get up early and go to work.
...I spend my evenings trying to get my first novel published.
...I talk to my wife about things that truly matter.
...I tell her how much she means to me.

...I spend time with family who make me feel uncomfortable.
...I work on fixing my car.
...I make lasting positive changes in my life.
...I look myself in the mirror.

...I swallow my pride.
...I take my ego out of the equation.
...I stand up for myself.
...I believe in things I cannot see, hear, touch, taste or smell.

...I realize hard work doesn't always pay off.
...I realize honesty isn't always the best policy.
...I realize evil is too often unpunished.
...I realize that life is seldom fair.

...I have learned that teachers are people too.
...I have learned that I'm not a perfect person.
...I have learned that it's more important to be nice than to be right.
...I have learned that life is worth living.
