Rising stars shine brightly in the writer’s sky,
Illuminating anyone who is willing to give it a try.
Sending out the message to all on this site,
Imagination and dedication will be your guiding light.
Never failing to be positive in everything you do,
Gaining valuable experience, from novels to haiku.

So your spelling is not perfect and your grammar needs some work.
Those are technicalities that a writer can not shirk.
A constructive review will help; it is a writer’s perk.
Rising to the challenge, we edit ‘til its right.

Sometimes it’s not easy; we can all get a “Block.”
How can we overcome it and get our minds to unlock?
If I get stuck with my writing, I go and read a book.
Not everyone is the same; some even go to cook.
Inspiration is not everything and doesn’t come always.
Now and then it will drown you; then we have our barren days.
God only knows when we will get those little rays.

Begrudgingly you persevere and work hard into the night.
Rewarding text does appear and starts to shine so bright.
It’s everything you wanted to say; your heart begins to glow.
Give yourself praise for the words that finally flow.
