What's Right About America

I had to write this for the Miss Indiana Teenager Pageant in 100 words. I didn't win the title of Miss Indiana Teenager but I did receive a plaque that named me as a State Finalist. I thought I would share my essay. Thanks!

America is a free and beautiful land. It's been around quite awhile. Being free means: the people have the right to speak, travel, print newspapers and voice their opinions on politics. The President and his cabinet rule by the Constitution which was written to let American people know their rights and liberties. Our country tries to avoid war but American people will fight to save their country. It's too free to give it up now. Most Americans enjoy the beauty of the land.When you think of America's advantages, it should make you proud and happy to be free.
