SAILING WITH THE WIND
In dreams, I set sail on the waves of destiny, midnight traveling through time and space. Winds keep pushing me further to the edge of despair, I cling to memories I can't erase. There was a time when loving came easily, when your touch was all I'd want or need. Waves rushed in to a rocky shore, crashing, my world drowning with the truth now freed. Daylight hours brought me so little comfort as you turned from me and just walked away. There was a bitter part of me that let you go, and a silent part of me that begged you stay. To recognize the danger in loving too much, is to realize that each of us may have sinned. In dreams, all forgiven and together once more, a new beginning, we are sailing with the wind.
