9 O Look How Fast the Things Can Change One day you’re so young and strong You’ve the brain, and you’ve the brawn But before you know it, things go wrong You’re old and weak; your youth is gone O look, how fast the things can change One day you are mighty and rich You have the wealth, and you’ve the power But then you slip and fall in a ditch From the lofty abode of your ivory tower O look, how fast the things can change One day you see a gorgeous lass You become her man; she becomes your gal You’re both so happy, but then alas She meets someone; she’s no more your pal O look, how fast the things can change
