Hurricane Katrina of the 2005 Atlantic hurricane season was the costliest hurricane, as well as one of the five deadliest, in the history of the United States.[2] Among recorded Atlantic hurricanes, it was the sixth strongest overall.

Unleashed fury struck the streets. Creating massive damage, The Hurricane would not retreat. Insurgent water over levees flowed Our beautiful Big Easy was Now a city left to grieve.
