Roman Guard.
The Roman guard is very hard. He's top-notch, keeping watch, Outside the cave, Jesus' grave. No-one dare go there. If they try they will die. The Roman guard is very hard. But at night comes a light, An angel bright, dressed in white, Fills the night with blinding light, And an earthquake makes the ground shake. To the floor, struck with awe, The guard tumbles, the earth rumbles. The Roman guard is not so hard! Filled with terror, he sees his error. Who can fight against God's might? Then the soldier sees the boulder Rolled aside. Where can he hide? There's nowhere to run; God has begun To show his power in this hour. Jesus wakes, rising takes Another breath; he's conquered death!
