Violets
Rated: E | Poetry | Other | #1673323
A poem written for my youngest son's kindergarden teacher. She is fond of violets.

Violets

The dew has found the violets
that grow along my wall.
I watched the tiny flowers bloom
where springtime raindrops fall.

The petals are so beautiful,
breath-taking is their hue
and I will hold them in my heart
especially for you.
