WINTER SKY

Leaden colored sky:.
lacy branches frame my view.
Winter close at hand.

Winter close at hand:
shiny sunlight sinking low
in the west of day.

In the west of day,
nighttime enters, chilling fast--
bright a memory.

Bright a memory--
rising sun gives morning light;
life renews again!

Life renews again!
Sky mirrored coldly by frost;
leaden colored sky!
