. It won't make much sense unless you read her poem first as it is from the point of view of being on an edge and given the choice to remain in a depressing lost state or choosing to be free.. Still a work in progress.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At the edge she finds herself
Surrounded by nightmares and dreams
Trying to figure out
Reality's golden seams
She isn't alone
Someone is there
Weighing the possibilities
Should I grab her hand
Or watch her lose her wings
Reflections drag the girl further down
So much time spent on finding proof
That in the end she was always loved
But let actions overpower that truth
Her secrets seem to pile up
And memories of those who "care"
Helped destroy her life views
The creators of her cold stare
Of what is left she dares to share
A heart wanting to be heard
Truth be told she has a lot of love
(Sometimes) giving and Always receiving sweet words
The edge is breaking
Yet still she waits
Unsure of what to choose
A familiar smile or torment
There's So much and so little to lose
Still nightmares cloud the little girl
Too many times she has been saved
Does she deserve to hold that hand
Or walk the road Hell has paved
Again the edge she stands on
Reminds her of everything
Would jumping to the darkness
Be The final breaking of her dreams
Light and dark begin their fight
Her vision blurring til she cannot see
Darkness trying to hurt her with
the power of her memories
Family often shared their hopes with her
their wants for her to be okay
but actions often proved them wrong
Her love for them starting to decay
Light reminds the little heart
Of all good she has believed
pushing her back from the edge
Remembering that darkness deceives
She accepts that God does lover her
He has given her better family
Hearts filled with pain have been restored
And given reasons for her to still be
It's true Satan has played with her
Twisting thoughts and cheating at games
Creating impossible situations
With no one left but herself to blame
Yet still she has jumped through the hoops
And fallen down many stairs
She has received all kinds of scars
And survived years of wear and tear
And if the girl does grasp the hand
Will she truly understand
That hopes and dreams and memories
Will keep her on the land
Suddenly the edge disappears
The ground begins to shake
knowing that the choice she has made
will never be a mistake
Jumping to the loving arms
The darkness forced to move on
Finding herself in a better place
Where all the lights are on
I'm pretty sure that the only person who will understand some of this is Tornado Day but I hope that you can find your own connection between the two poems and possibly pick your own light over dark if you ever find yourself in a similar situation *Heart*.....
