They really did it! This time they really did it!
Henry listened to the voices of his companions around him, a bubbling cacophany of low rumbling. They were laughing and he knew it was at his expense. C'mon guys, game's up. Put things back right. Henry couldn't move. Nor could he speak. He tried to will himself to do one or the other in turn but this time, mind over matter wasn't working. They had ganged up on him therefore the spell was too powerful for Henry to break. Robert glanced his way and let out a guffaw before turning back to the other two men. Henry felt his temper rising then his panic. Standing on the table he was maybe a foot tall. Claustrophobia was settling over him as he tried to calm his heart. He, Robert, Thad, and Sam had been bantering back and forth as always. Henry supposed he might have pressed his luck this time because the others had turned to him muttering an incantation that was new to him. Next thing he knew, he was frozen in time and a foot tall. The others had threatened to do something if Henry kept up his know-it-all and argumentative ways. Okay guys, I get it! You made your point! Let me go! Thad glanced his way as if he had read Henry's thoughts. He picked Henry up and studied him. "You know what? I think he'd look real good over here." Standing, he walked to his roaring frieplace and set Henry on the mantle. "Stay cozy Henry, ol' boy."
