Toxic and tenacious it coats my feathers.
Fish and fauna sink in the breaches.
Men in white suits their nets gather.
For terror and torment stalk the beaches.

Soap and suds by monsters in masks.
Slide goo to a bucket’s dark morass.
Sun and soft breezes all I ask.
But I know not of BP.
