The Last Time I Was In Cairo

I saw all the air I
didn't want to breathe
in a dusk of wind sanding
my eyes a shade of
blood (a gun could never
hit) I feel the haze in my
lungs and an emphysema
cheer- hoping for a better
future of worse health to
end my life at last- unlike
this relic of power I can't
see before me in this holy land

"The Writer's Cramp 13+: Write the best story or poem in 24 hours or less and win 10,000 GPs!

Have fun and see some pyramids if you can . . .
