the darkness waits
to wrap me in a cloak of peace, to take away my sorrow and pain, my fears, my tears, my heartache. the darkness sighs turning this way and that, searching for that which can't be found, tearing hope apart like tissue paper. the darkness seeks bent on my destruction. crafty but cruel, it sneaks up and pounces when least expected. darkness is death, death is darkness- and when death comes for you, pray for the darkness.
