NYC rally for Israel & ...
Recent events in the Middle East remind me that we all need to think for ourselves...

After seeing the cropped photo of an Israeli soldier on an aid ship surrounded by people of "peace" published by the Associated Press I wondered how many biased reports are there? Well, we're all biased to some degree, especially when human lives are at stake.

But I have to wonder why the Turkish government didn't give Israel a "heads up" on the flotilla and arrange an agreeable meeting port where the Israelis could check the vessels and send them on their way. Israel's caution is understandable since rockets are fired by Hamas into southern Israel. And now it's hard to find a country that is standing by Israel. She's surrounded, geographically and politically, with very few, mostly individuals such as myself, standing with her.

Today I was at the rally for Israel in NYC. They made a good point when they said "No rockets, no blockade." Also, I can't think of a single time when Israel threatened to wipe another nation off the map or lobbed missiles into neighboring countries while hiding behind women's skirts and babie's diapers as Hamas does.

With political turmoil, volcanoes, earthquakes and oil spewing the color of dead men's blood (I recently read that oil turns red when mixed with sea water), seeing the news is like seeing previews of the book of Revelation. God's wake up call? I'm awake, I'm awake!

Psalm 83 says that God will settle accounts with His enemies. It may be sooner than we think...
