A broken ring found in a box;
cracked stone, twisted band. A ring of broken promises, unspoken hurts and unshed tears. White lace, sullied grace, long days, longer nights, dreams shattered by alcohol and fights. Memories of you released with that ring find a swollen finger and a hardened heart. Now the band is fixed. The stone replaced. Memories don’t haunt, because of a ring in a box. line count:16
