The teacher stood in front of the class at Arroyo Vista High School as the last students filed in. Fum sat in the front of the classroom at her desk. With her long blonde hair and blue eyes, she was easily one of the prettiest girls in class.
“Since this is the last day of school,” said the teacher, “and this is your last day of high school, I was hoping to open a discussion that was science related on a topic of your choice. Does anyone have any burning questions that need to be answered?” A red-haired girl named Athena the same age as Fum was sitting two chairs over from her, and raised her hand. She was almost as pretty as Fum. When the teacher called on her, she asked, “Why are the people of Earth so much smaller than us?” “That's a good question, Athena! From our perspective, the people of Earth are about two inches tall. Earth exists in another space-time continuum in a parallel reality. Most things, including language, were duplicated there and here on Thunderterra. The main difference between Earth and our reality is a difference of scale.” Athena raised her hand again. The teacher called on her, and she asked, “What about their technology? They seem primitive by our standards.” “Yes,” the teacher responded, “they have only begun using computers within the last hundred years.” The class erupted in laughter at this. “Thunderterra is unique, because about five thousand years ago, a visitor from the future of another advanced reality shared technology with us. Because we progressed from that point on, we are about ten-thousand years more advanced than the people of Earth.” “My older sister told me we have no laws protecting Earth from an attack from Thunderterra,” said Athena. “Theoretically, a group of us could conquer Earth and face no legal repercussions.” “That's true,” said the teacher. “Our laws do not extend to alternate realities. The people of Earth are on their own! Why are you so interested in this?” “My two sisters and I are going to journey to Earth for summer vacation. We plan on conquering Earth! We're going to call ourselves the Crimson Trio, because we all have red hair!” “When are you planning on leaving for Earth?” Fum asked. “This afternoon!” said Athena. "Aren't your parents going to stop you?" Fum asked. "We're eighteen now, Fum!" Athena replied. "And today we're graduating from high school. There's nothing my parents can do to stop me, because I'm a legal adult!" When class was over, Fum ditched her high school graduation ceremony and ran toward the university, where her older sister Fee was enrolled. Although summer vacation had already started for the university students, Fee was doing volunteer work at the college for the Honor Society. Fum arrived just as Fee was finishing her work for the day. Fee also had blonde hair and blue eyes, but her hair was cut much shorter than Fum's. “Fee! We have to stop the Crimson Trio from conquering Earth! A girl named Athena and her two sisters are traveling to Earth this afternoon, and we have to stop them!” Fee's friend Fie was standing next to Fee, clutching her books. Fie was Native American, and had long dark brown hair and hazel eyes. “How are we supposed to get there?” Fee asked. “We don't have a trans-dimensional vessel. “Fo has a vessel,” said Fie. “There's room for all four of us.” “We have to get there before the Crimson Trio!” said Fum. “Let's go!” said Fee, and the three girls ran toward Fee's hovercar in the university parking lot. Once they were all onboard, Fee piloted the craft to Fo's house. A massive garage dominated one side of Fo's house. When Fee landed the hovercar and the three girls disembarked, they saw Fo with a wrench in her hand, making an adjustment on an apparatus on one side of the large trans-dimensional vessel. Fo was Asian, with short black hair, and brown eyes. “Hi, Fo!” said Fee. “My sister Fum says three girls are about to attack Earth, and she wants us to stop them. Can we use your vessel to get there?” “My vessel is top of the line, so I don't see why not,” said Fo. “School's out for the summer, I don't start college again until August, and I don't have anything better to do. Who are the people we're trying to stop?” “The Crimson Trio!” said Fum. “Athena, and her sisters Phoebe and Rhea! Phoebe and Rhea go to the university with the three of you!” “I know Pheobe and Rhea,” said Fo. “If they journey to Earth, I feel sorry for the people of Earth! Here on Thunderterra, Phoebe and Rhea are cruel and selfish! On Earth, they would be unstoppable tyrants, unless we can intervene!” “Let's call ourselves the Fee Fie Fo Fum Force!” said Fum. “That sounds ridiculous,” said Fee. “Since we're from the planet Thunderterra, we'll call ourselves the Thunder Squad!” The girls all put their right hands together in unison. “Let's track down the Crimson Trio,” said Fum, “and see what they're up to!” The four girls piled into Fee's hovercar and they flew to the home of the Crimson Trio. When they landed, they could see a vessel similar to the one parked in Fo's garage. Athena came out and greeted them. “Hi!” said Athena. Her two sisters joined her. “I'm sure you know my sisters, Phoebe and Rhea!” The three sisters stood there with their flowing red hair. They were beautiful, but Fum knew that they were evil. “Are you really going through with this?” Fum asked. “Are you really going to conquer Earth?” “Yes!” said Athena. “What better way to spend our summer vacation? We're going to Earth to proclaim ourselves as goddesses! With our superior size and technology, we'll be unstoppable!” “The people of Earth are nothing but a race of insects begging to be conquered!” said Rhea. Fo dropped something while the others were talking, and it crawled over to the Crimson Trio's vessel. It was a small robot, and it attached itself to the outer hull. “We're going to stop you!” said Fum. “We're not going to let you get away with this!” “Well, good luck!” said Rhea. “You're gonna need it!” said Phoebe. A short time later, the four girls were strapped into Fo's trans-dimensional vessel. Fo was the pilot. She programmed the vessel for the coordinates of Earth, and before long, they were off on their way. Each of the girls were wearing helmets, and they could hear each other through two-way radios built into the helmets. “I've got a lock on the Crimson Trio!” said Fo. “I planted a transponder onto the hull of their vessel so we can track them! All we have to do is wait for them to get to Earth before we do, then we can follow them!” “Good job, Fo!” said Fum. Meanwhile, on Earth, the Crimson Trio emerged from a vortex in their trans-dimensional vessel, and headed for the beach. Rhea piloted the vessel to the coast, and landed the craft on top of some sand dunes several miles in area. The three redheads got out and looked around. “So this is Earth!” said Athena. “Yes, and we’re in the city of Arroyo Vista of this reality, so it feels like we’re home!” said Rhea. “Let's destroy the nearest city and proclaim ourselves as the masters of this pathetic society!” said Phoebe. The three crimson-haired young women started laughing as they fired up their rocket-packs and headed toward the nearest community. They landed at the edge of town, and started stomping on houses and cars. “This is fun!” said Athena. “I feel like a giant!” Athena stood with one foot on one side of a freeway, and one foot on the other side. The cars cruised between her shoes, in both directions. Athena lifted her left foot and brought it down on a car. When she lifted her shoe, the car was demolished. “I want to swallow someone!” said Rhea, and she bent over and ripped a house apart until she found a suitable victim. From Rhea’s perspective, the captive was about two inches tall. Rhea lifted the tiny man above her mouth, when suddenly, a huge vortex opened up in the sky above the town, and the vessel the Thunder Squad were riding in shot out of it. Fo landed the vessel on the same sand dunes where the Crimson Trio had parked their vessel, not far from the beach on the central coast. The girls got out and looked around. “The Crimson Trio have already arrived, at these coordinates and they’re wreaking havoc!” said Fo. “We need to intercept them before they cause too much damage!” “Look at how small those cars are!” said Fum, as she approached the highway. Hundreds of cars cruised past as she arrived at the edge of the highway. Fum stepped over the highway until her left foot was on one side and her right foot was on the other. “I feel like a giant!” “We are giants here, Fum!” said Fee. Some of the cars stopped by the side of the highway, and the drivers got out to observe Fum and her older sister. Fo approached the two sisters. Just then, Fee, Fie, Fo and Fum disembarked and activated their own rocket packs and intercepted the Crimson Trio as they were attacking the city. “Prepare to battle the Thunder Squad!” yelled Fum. To the onlookers below, there were seven giant girls brawling. Within minutes, several news crews were on the scene. Some people stood around in awe observing the fiasco while others tried to flee the city in their cars. Fee and Fum grappled with Rhea, while Fo fought Athena and Fie fought with Phoebe. Cars were crushed underneath their boots as they fought. Rhea broke free and levitated above the others. “Crimson Trio, retreat!” she shouted, and her two sisters joined her as they fled back to their vessel in the sand dunes. Fee, Fie, Fo and Fum remained were they were. “My scanner isn't picking them up,” said Fo. “They must've used a Quantum Flux initiator to hide at human size. Our best bet is to return to the vessel and shrink down to human size and take it from there!” Fo activated her rocket-pack and flew into the air toward the vessel. The other girls followed her. Once there, the Crimson Trio and their vessel were nowhere to be seen. “There were onlookers back at the city,” said Fo, “so I didn't want to give away my plan. I say we disguise ourselves as humans at human size, and wait for the Crimson Trio to make another appearance!” “Sounds good to me!” said Fum. Fo continued: “We can use our technology to make fake documents to pass ourselves off as Earth people. Nobody will ever know we're from Thunderterra! It's going to be tough, because we'll have to get jobs to support ourselves and establish secret identities.” “I'm willing to make a few sacrifices to save this world!” said Fee. “Me too!” said Fum. “But where are we going to keep our trans-dimensional vessel while we get an apartment?” “I can shrink it!” said Fo. “In the meantime, we need to change into civilian clothes so nobody recognizes us!” An hour later, the girls were shrunk down to human size and were in the city looking for an apartment. Fum entered a store and noticed a lottery sign. “Hey!” said Fum, “We can use the computer on Fo's vessel to send a signal through temporal space to find out the winning lottery numbers so we can win enough money to get an apartment!” “That would be like taking money away from the rightful winner!” said Fee. “If we only got enough numbers right to win just enough money as we need, I think it would be all right,” said Fo. “Yeah, I guess you're right!” Later that night, Fum walked out of the store with a check for a thousand dollars. The other girls had a hundred each. “Now we can get a motel that charges by the week until we can get jobs!” said Fee. The girls were in their motel room later that evening. There were two beds, and Fee and Fo each got a bed, but Fie and Fum had pillows and blankets and slept on the floor. “Now that we have a base of operations, we can track the Crimson Trio and be ready for any time they appear!” said Fum. Meanwhile, the Crimson Trio were also out and about. Athena had the same idea as Fum, but Rhea and Phoebe didn't try to talk her out of it. Instead, they went along with it, and now the girls were fifty million dollars richer. “As soon as we get the lottery money,” said Rhea, “ we'll be able to establish secret identities for ourselves and return to normal size to attack as the Crimson Trio!” “What if the Thunder Squad tries to stop us?” Athena asked. “There are four of them and three of us!” “We'll be ready for them!” said Rhea. “I have a plan!” To Be Continued!
