Cradled In The Arms Of his Holy Spirit
A poem about a person and their life what seems the end becomes the beginning.

I see the long suffering in your eyes
the brokeness that you try to hide.
Guilt strown across your face
Shame clothes you in it's embrace.
Shattered dreams...
And a heart that was torn at it's seams.
Life falls like dust between your fingertips
you feel like your loosing your grip.
Memories play before your eyes
your thinking it won't be long before you say your final good-bye.
Almost at wits end
out from somewhere comes the strength you need to continue fightin'.
Battle scarred flesh yet you continue to fight...
In the distance of your darkness you can see a light.
Out the light a hand reaches out
to pull you through the depths of doubt.
You sputter your lungs burning for air
almost drowning in your despair.
Out of the depths of a once lost soul
new life begins to flow.
A heat rises within a once cold spirit
cradled safe in thee arms of his holy spirit.
