Monument
A triumph of architecture (and hyperbole)

Prompt image:

Monument

Oh gather ye and gaze
In wonder
No finer structure to be seen
Than this, no words of praise
Can render:
A palace worthy of a queen

So stands she there, and watches
From above
Awestruck denizens scuttle by
Guards below, none touches
Turrets of
Silicon stretching to the sky

We made this grand ascent
Together
A symbol of our loyal pride
So stand this monument
Forever
(At least, until the next high tide).
