Under the backbone of Night
I move just a bit closer to you. You whisper my name, and you it better than anybody I heard do. We met on the 5th, Fawke's Day, please don't ever take your love away. Now I know all the thinking you might I know it well under the backbone of the Night. Under the backbone of Night You hear me whisper your name. And above all the things you can hear, you can hear my voice clear and plain. If you counted all the stars above, they couldn't account for my vast love, my vast love for you and all that's right, and for the world under the backbone of Night. Under the backbone of Night you slide just a bit closer to me. You hold me tighter and tighter, I begin to worry about your injury. I could see images pass through your hollow eyes, and I knew what happened, I can tell when a soul dies. With your body still and slowly cooling, your face without light, I began to weep ceaselessly under the backbone of Night,
