SEND ME A RAINBOW



There are times when the world seems dark
and the burdens of life are too much to bear.
It is in those times that the answer will come
only if you only seek God in fervent prayer.

Send me a rainbow, Lord, you know my need,
for my heartache has gone on much too long.
The rain keeps on falling, life's lingering pain
is keeping me from hearing Heaven's song.

Brighten my path as I walk through the storm,
let me look up to see your sweet saving grace.
Send me a rainbow shining with its soft colors,
for the cares of the world only you can erase.
