Silvery doors I was never expecting, although I didn't imagine thorns for sure. Give me a sign. Just Give me a sign, before it begins to get obscure. Perhaps they were destined to get lost in the winds, somehow your whispers couldn't ruffle my soul. Give me a sign. Just Give me a sign, you have but read a part as a whole. Evanescing flame that you left in my heart, is doing its best to show me my way. Give me a sign. Just Give me a sign, before I fall astray. I know I can't be the one you want me to be, still you won't need the mirror anymore. Give me a sign. Just Give me a sign, don't let it die before we start off once more. Things aren't like what you see them from above, and I was the one to get trapped in the riptide. Give me a sign. Just Give me a sign, for if it weren't for you; I couldn't have survived. Written for ""Like a Song" Poetry Contest" Prompt: Give me a sign. Just Give me a sign.
