The eyes, the virtual lens,
were meant for seeing, looking, peering - inspecting the world as it appears and bringing bits of that world into the self. Seeking reality. The heart, the emotional haven, was meant for feeling, sensing, believing – caressing the world as a place of wonder and bringing bits of that world into the self. Seeking ecstasy. The eyes see the flower, a bud exploded, the seed as a flower that’s died. The heart sees the flower, a token of love, the seed as a future new life. Written as a responsive poem to:
