SOAR welcome letter

Welcome!

Thank you for joining Soaring Over All Restrictions! 

As the page states, this is a group for those that have a disability/handicap or wish to lend a healing heart and a willing ear to those that are. People that are seen as different have a hard time in the world, people tend to look down upon them or treat them differently.  It can get tiresome after a while, so I figured why not get everyone together so we can vent and talk to people that understand?  The love and comfort that can be provided by such a support group can mean everything to someone with a disability.

So, this group is here to heal the stress and fractures that are caused by an uncertain world.  People don’t know how to treat those with disabilities so they tend to either treat them poorly or treat them like little kids. This group is also about education, educate the general public on how to approach someone with a disability.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to chat amongst themselves. There will be several fun things planned in the future.
